Turn Down… Made in 2014 - A New Valentine’s Day Mix by yours truly. This time around though, all the music that’s on the mix is “New”. Most of the songs on this mix are from the last 2 years, and all of the songs are less then 5 years old. I think the most common complaint from my demographic of listeners is that “today’s music sucks”. I hear it time and time again, and of course I totally understand. Thats why I make my mixtapes the way I make them. As it turns out though, there are a lot of great new artists, unheard of artists that don’t get radio play, that make music with a similar aesthetic to the stuff I’ve loved “back in the days”. If you like the mix, please support the artists by visiting their soundclouds/ websites etc etc. Many of the artists are still unsigned, still looking for y’all to find their music.
