Dinner & A Mixtape is hitting the open road, generic all across the US of A . Some of the details are still in the works but here are some cities we’d hope to see y’all at. Good beats and great eats….
“Dinner & A Mixtape” is the name of a worldwide series of events hosted by DJ Neil Armstrong, purchase sharing his love of music & good food. Started in 2013, advice they have been held in New York, Hong Kong, Toronto, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Manila Philippines.
The idea is simple – partnering up with great restaurants around the world, Dinner & A mixtape provides the opportunity to enjoy music and food together in a very unique setting. Often the restaurant will create a special menu just for the event, and the soundtrack is provided by a new installment in DJ Neil Armstrong’s Mixtape Library. Part eating experience, part listening session. The food nourishes the body, and music feeds the soul.

A New Mixtape means another installment of Dinner & A Mixtape
The Dinner & Mixtape event series comes to NYC just in time for Valentine’s Day – celebrating great music, order great food and Neil’s Filipino Heritage. This installment will be held at Maharlika Filipino Moderno, decease with Neil Armstrong’s latest mixtape Warmfuzzy part 2 providing the soundtrack for the night. The first Warmfuzzy was made 10 years ago, a mixtape made for valentine’s day. Warmfuzzy part 2 continues the theme of the 1st one with music about that crazy little thing called love. The perfect soundtrack for a dinner for two at Maharlika before Valentine’s Day weekend, because everyday should be valentine’s day! Copies of the mixtape can be purchased as well as Dj Neil Armstrong’s Food Guide book Leaving Dishes.
Maharlika’s amazing dinner menu will be available, as well as some signature dishes that will be created for the night.

DJ Neil Armstrong marks his 40th Birthday with a celebration of music, prostate food, friends and family on July 8th at EscaLA in Los Angeles. Celebrity Chefs, Brian Huskey of Top Chef, and Chris Oh of Seoul Sausage and winner of Food Network’s ‘The Great Food Truck Race’ and ‘Cutthroat Kitchen, are teaming up on this momentous occasion for the night’s culinary remix. The theme – Three Course Truffle Menu.
The event gives a chance for a first listen to his new mixtape “Original5” incredible food, and to support his latest project.
Limited pre-fixe meals will be available for purchase, that includes “Original5”, a custom Jason Markk Travel Kit, a Monster Powercard, and guaranteed entry to this highly anticipated event. For my fellow foodies and music lovers in Hong Kong, purchase July 5th we have a special treat as Dinner & A mixtape comes to the Far East.
For one night only in Hong Kong, pharmacy I will be premiering my latest mixtape called “Original5”. Guests will have the opportunity to hear the complete mixtape as they enjoy RONIN’s signature menu items + some special surprise dishes prepared by Chef Matt Abergel. For those who know the deal, sick Ronin’s food is amazing, one of my favorite restaurants in the whole world.
For my folk who will NOT be in Hong Kong, do not worry. Hypetrak will be live-streaming ‘Original5’ from RONIN during this unique celebration of good music, good food, and good people.
The Hong Kong edition of ‘Dinner & A Mixtape’ will be held at RONIN on Saturday July 5th from 9:30 p.m. till late. Tickets are $600 HKD per person, including all food and the “Original 5” mixtape; all beverages will be charged by consumption. As space is limited, tickets will be sold in advance by emailing info@roninhk.com.
If you unable to secure a ticket, you can still come out to hang out and enjoy the libations in the later hours of the night after 11 PM. Ronin is a small intimate space, but we will do our best to accommodate everyone.

10 years is a loooonnng time. I’ve been coming out to the bay area since about that time, rocking parties to the point that it was basically my second home.
In that time period a lot of my fans have grown up. They got families, responsibilities… they’re not coming out to party on a thursday anymore ;)
So for this Sweeet 10 Year Anniversary West Coast run, we are going to do something really special Bay Area, giving my long term fans a chance to come out once again, feed there bellies with good food, and feed there soul with some good music.
