June 19th is the actual bday for yours truly. It’s also pops day & Juneteenth . On top of that,it’s my 2 year twitchaversary month (I don’t remember when I actually started up because my brain is basically a half a century old). So lots to celebrate.

I’ve come to learn many of y’all have still not seen my visual mixtape versions of some of my classic releases, so figured I’d do a little pop up at a time when I wouldn’t usually stream for those who keep missing the regular scheduled festivities .

The last time I was out here in Hawaii, I did a last minute pop-up stream up in this tree you see here at the @pohakupunabeachclub . As it turns out, I’m here again, but this time around with a couple of things to celebrate .

1) Another trip around the sun, as I get to celebrate another birthday. A little bit older, a tidbit wiser, and a belly that would make Homer simpson proud #dadbod.

The beauty of all the #twitch #dj livestreams has been the sheer diversity of music you can hear at any given moment. I’d like to think that I have a decent music knowledge, and yet somehow still 90% of the music I’m hearing I’ve never heard before or haven’t heard in a very long time.

Back about 14 years ago I made a mixtape series called the “All Out King” mixtape series. The 2nd one in the series was all ‘rock’ music, and included everything from the Zombies and Aerosmith to the cure and 10,000 maniacs on it.

One of the remixes from the mixtape is this one, Will Ferrell Meets Pharell on a track made by the ficticious Basketball Player Jackie Moon. The perfect song melding Neil Armstrong’s love of Music and Basketball.

Another one of our tv icons is moving on to their next chapter. One of my fond memories was getting to perform on his short lived “Jay Leno” Show during my run with Jay-Z . If y’all remember, treatment this was right after the infamous Taylor Swift incident with Kanye West at the VMA awards.
