This mixtape was a departure from just the expected R&B, Hip Hop and soul classics. There were some unexpected artists who made the cut, including Led Zeppelin, The Art of Noise and Joe Bataan. Consequently from this point on one of the unfortunately labels I was given was a "mash-up" DJ. If you listen to what I do, I think you'll come to the conclusion that using that term is inaccurate. I'm just a DJ who loves good music.

This was the mix released exclusively for Dinner & A Mixtape II with Remy Enjoy Music, Featuring sounds inspired by Chef Steve Gonzalez of Baro Toronto.

Here it is for y'all who couldn't join us for the night. About an hours worth of music - some Hip Hop, Salsa, Brazilian, Freestyle... put together with that signature DJ Neil Armstrong story telling aesthetic .

This mix, as well as Scratch Bastid's mix & Steve Gonzalez’s recipes for the menu, were presented to all dinner guests on a Cassette USB. These limited edition items were only available if you came thru (that's right, snooze ya lose) - BUT , because we love ya, here is the mix for you to download to your library of mp3's.

This mix is essentially a soundtrack to Steve Gonzalez life as a Colombian/Canadian chef. After doing some interviews with him, we compiled a list of his favorite tracks - music that motivates him to cook, music that represents his culinary vision, music that represents Chef Steve.

Ultimately, the idea was to listen to this mix at home, while you recreated the dishes using his recipes, so you could revisit the atmosphere and feeling you got when you joined us for Dinner & A Mixtape.

A few weeks ago I was messing around and came up with this remix. I Posted up the practice session on Facebook Live. Some folks asked me to record it for real. Here it is .

I think unfortunately there is a divide in urban music between the old and the new. This remix is an attempt to bridge that gap . The weeknd meets Michael Jackson on this remix of "Feel it Coming" w/ "Human Nature".

Folks often say that the weeknd "sounds like" the king of pop. Some might take that as a slight... I think comparing and sounding like MJ is a compliment and a half.

The Sweeet Series was supposed to be a trilogy, with 3 mixes - each with a different name. You know them by now - Sweeet, Bittersweeet, and Smoove. Back in 2009 I decided to let the story continue on, with Sweeet Part 2 . I made this while I was still on tour with Mr. Carter in between tour runs. By this time it had been 3 years since I finished my last CD, and this one was a nice return to the work that got me started.

The DNA of the Blueprint - Created as a tribute to Blueprint Trilogy, this mixtape follows the concept on my "originals" series, weaving back and forth between the Hip Hop songs from all the Blueprint albums, and the music that was used to create the songs - the DNA of the Blueprint. Originally presented as a FREE Download in March of 2010. It's still a great listen, especially since the Blueprint albums are no long available on spotify / apple music.

Warmfuzzy, originally dropped in 2005, this one is all about the cupcaking goodness of Valentine's Day. Also known as Part 1 of the "All Out King" Mixtape series (AOK for short), this series was meant to explore the whole spectrum of good music, not just the grouping of "urban" music most people who listened to my work would gravitate to.
