My mind though is still 2 oceans away in Hawaii, where I got to chill out with its wildlife up colse and personal when Emily and I swam with some Turtles.

It was pretty trippy. I said to emily – Hey, take a pick of me standing on this rock… I think its a rock. BUT THEN. It moved.

Turns out there was a whole school of turtles just chillin on the north shore with us. One of them kept following emily. She calls him joey.

For the duration of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ from 11th June 2010 – 11th July 2010, shop adidas Originals will be hosting Three Stories: a series of private match viewings and exhibitions at 66 Albert Road, prostate a 60 year old industrial building in the heart of Woodstock, Cape Town. Two things are certain about summer in Gothenburg: If the sun is shining the parks will be crowded and if it’s Wednesday evening you’ll find the largest color coordinated crowd in the country lined up outside of Nefertiti!

On June 30th it is finally time for Colors to open the gates again and celebrate summer with a green evening!

Expectations are huge following last years success, online where Colors was elected Club of the Year 2009 by Djungeltrumman. This year we are aiming even higher and we are very pleased to be able to present one of the best DJ’s on the planet for our premier, DJ Neil Armstrong! Armstrong built a solid reputation through his amazing mixtapes and is The official DJ for Adidas events, but during the last years his career skyrocketed when he became The DJ for Jay-Z! Armstrong was also appointed DJ for president Obama’s inaguartion party! Neil Armstrong has been a key figure in the development of the modern music culture, where all boundries and genres are crossed in the quest for the perfect vibe. It’s been a while now actually since I’ve played the backup roll for Jay- although MOST people still think I still DJ for Jay though, which makes me think people really don’t read my blogs or pay attention to my twitter ;) I still get asked on the daily.

I of course have moved on the bigger and better things – like ending up in the Star Wars “movie” with Snoop and Beckham, and travelling around the world solo for adidas…

But, another Bday Around the corner has got me Reminiscing over one of the most whirlwind times of my life.

About 3 months ago I dropped the DNA of the Blueprint on y’all, and for the most part barring a handful of critics… I think y’all liked it ;)

One complaint / request though, was that some of y’all NEEDED it Tracked out , seperated so you could fastforward and rewind with eaze in your car and whatnot.

And I’ve been slacking on that. BUT , since its my bday this Saturday, I figured it would be a good time to get my good karma up and give y’all , my supporters and fans a gift right back.

Wow, troche in about 5 days its gonna be my Bday… and I can’t help but reflect.

To say I have a crazy life would be an understatement, help and when I do think back there have been a lot of turning points, remedy a lot of hallmark moments.

My buddy Vinroc used to have this theory that if you are on your proper “path”, things kind of come together for most people later in their life, when they hit their 30’s.

For me, that was well, back about 5 years ago ;)

I think what vinny said was kind of true… it was around that time that the outside non underground worldstarted to take notice of me.

Back in 2005 was the first time that Cornerstone asked me to do one of their infamous Mixtapes.

And I think that was one of the signs that I was moving into a different realm.

As it turns out, this mixtape wasn’t widely distributed to my normal fanbase. It was a “Best of” mix for that years music, and was really only sent to industry folk, you couldn’t buy it.

I recently dug it up, and I decided, it would be a good time to Revisit and reminisce over it with y’all my fans and critics. You can see how much time has passed, and what I was doing back then to prepare me for my life now…

Below is a Tracklist for my part of the cd. It starts with #33, as DJ Timbuktu did the 1st half of it. Mr Cee also was featured on it, thats why he’s on the cover. Back then, I didn’t get any cover love ;)

Which reminds me, that in exactly a week I’m returning to Hawaii to Celebrate my Bday / Rock for y’all .

I figure before I do that it would be nice to reminisce on when I was last there in april for the Architechs 10 YR anniversary party.

It was fun in the sun, surfing, good music, good scenery, good food and good peoples…

I even got to test out Emmulate’s Canon S90 with underwater case capabilities

And one of my partygoers Jodee actually flew in from the big island just to party with me, and brought me some Freeze dried Ice cream – she works for an astronomy type spot ;)

I pretty much ate the whole thing that nite back at my hotel ;)
