Knicks fans know the deal. After 8 and a half months of rehab Iman Shumpert number 21 of the NY Knicks is back on the hardwood.

adidas and Packer Shoes just dropped his ltd edition Top Ten 2000 new yesterday, and pretty much sold out immediately.

If y’all didn’t know, Shump rhymes, and put out a mixtape last december called #POST90s

For the sneaker release, I did a little minimix, welcoming back Shumpert to the Knicks , chronicling his story through His own music.

Just in time for his return to the court, The 3 Stripes of adidas has released his own version of the TOP 10, which was limited to 500 NUMBERED pieces, and will drop TONITE at 21:21 (9PM EST) exclusively at Packer Shoes in Teaneck New Jersey, in honor of Shumperts return to the court . Shumpert will even be in the house.

Often while watching NBA games whether live at an arena or at home on television, help besides getting the opportunity to watch some of your favorite players in action, one of the main attractions are the footwear each player is wearing. So last season when Iman (whose name means ‘faith’ or ‘leader‘) debuted this special player exclusive on the court against the Lakers at MSG, we immediately initiated the conversation with adidas of trying to bring this shoe into production for a retail release. You could say this project was brave leap of faith into unknown territory. The same braveness and faith Iman gave Knicks fans last season as they started their resurgence back into the NBA’s elite.

Though the Knicks lost Iman last April after suffering a torn ACL in the first game of the first round playoff match up versus the Miami Heat, faith was not lost. After being cleared for full contact practice yesterday, faith has definitely been restored.

To celebrate his return to the hardwood and paying homage to another man who has evoked hope and faith in many, we are proud to announce the release of the Packer Shoes x adidas Top Ten 2000 Iman Shumpert P.E.

Limited to 500 pairs world wide, the ’2WO INE’ Top Ten 2000 will be releasing in Teaneck after the Knick’s annual Martin Luther King Day game – January 21st @ 21:21 (9:21 pm EST) with Iman in-store and later that evening online @ PackerShoes.com.

Each pair is numerically numbered up to 500. Purchases will be limited to one (1) pair per customer.
