“Dinner & A Mixtape” is the name of a worldwide series of events hosted by DJ Neil Armstrong, there sharing his love of music & good food. Started in 2013, they have been held in New York, Hong Kong, Toronto, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Manila Philippines.
The idea is simple – partnering up with great restaurants around the world, Dinner & A mixtape provides the opportunity to enjoy music and food together in a very unique setting. Often the restaurant will creat a special menu just for the event, and the soundtrack is provided by a new installment in DJ Neil Armstrong’s Mixtape Library. Part eating experience, part listening session. The food nourishes the body, and music feeds the soul.
Right Now they are bringing ” Dinner and A Mixtape” across the US, and the first stop is Phoenix.
The Phoenix edition of this meeting of good eats & beats will be held at La Piazza Phoenix.
That’s right, we’re having a pizza party. Dj Neil Armstrong will be joining fellow east coast transplant Justin Piazza . His sister restaurant in Scottsdale La Piazza al Forno was featured on Food Networks “Diners , Drive ins , and Dives “. The Phoenix location follows the same tradition, using only the finest ingredients, including homemade mozzarella, homemade dough and San Marzano tomatoes imported from Italy. La Piazza is also – just FYI – a VPN certified Neapolitan Pizzeria. Can’t get much better of a co-sign then that ;)
Come and dine on a 3 course meal while Listening to Neil’s latest mixtape Warmfuzzy part 2. With the 3 course meal you will receive a copy of mixtape on a USB Cassette , along with a link for a Digital Download of his entire mixtape catalogue, and an exclusive , custom apron (shown below) to commemorate event , only made and available for the night !

Classic Calamari, Palle Di Riso, Fried Mozzarella ,or our Fresh Caprese salad , made in house with our hand stretched mozzarella .
Main course:
La Piazza’s Famous Award winning, wood fired Neapolitan Pizza . A 12 inch personal pie , choose from any of their amazing wood fired pies listed here – OR try the very special “DJ NEIL ARMSTRONG” specialty pie only available for this one night.
Dessert:
La Piazza’s Angioletti Con Nutella , a Neapolitan take on east coast staple , zeppoles !!!! Fried dough , topped with Nutella and powdered sugar !!!!
Price for the 3 course menu : $45 per person
This includes 3 course meal , a copy of Warmfuzzy part 2 on USB Cassette , a special commemorative apron AND A digital download for Neil’s entire mixtape catalogue . The mixtape collection alone is worth over $150 dollars… but if the food feeds the body and music feeds the soul, we want to make sure you leave with your body and heart fully satisfied :)
