For those that do not know, Pow Wow is a meeting of great graphic artists , where they take there art form to the streets and beautify the landscape with their pieces. This time around, Pow wow is defending on Long Beach Ca.

They’ve extended the event to include a music division – the pow wow school of music.

I’ll be doing a little talk at the #powwowlongbeach school of music, so I figured we could take it a step further and do a special #dinnerandamixtape , joining the love of Music & Art with the love of good food.

Federal Bar is a gastropub, and for one night will be making some special “POW WOW” menu items for you to grub on. Menu for the night will be A La Carte.

EVERY Person who attends will get a Free Download of my complete mixtape Library.

Instead of doing the regular Opening party for the week long Pow Wow event, we wanted to do something different that would allow more communication and conversation.

The opening night event will give the public an opportunity to meet some of the artists that will be beautifying the city of Long Beach, while giving the artists a chance to get to know one another and have a meeting of the minds, while sharing great food by The Federal Bar.

DJ Neil Armstrong’s mixtape music will provide the soundtrack to the evening and a special performance
from the Pow! Wow! School of Music will end the evening.

All guests of the event will get a free download
of DJ Neil Armstrong’s complete library of mixes that will set the mood for the artists as they paint the Long Beach walls.

We hope to see all you foodie, music and art fans there , a Pow Wow before the Pow wow begins :)

POW WOW is a gathering of contemporary artists that engages with the broader community in the process and creation of art.

The beauty of art is most commonly enjoyed during its final stage. All the blood, sweat and tears happen behind closed doors. However, that is where the real grandeur lies. The process. Imagine for a moment a gathering of internationally renowned artists in one place. A place that will allow them to do what they do best: be creative. We give them the tools, the space and the freedom to paint for one week. We make that process open to the public, allowing them full engagement and interaction between the artists and their audience.
