The Dinner & A Mixtape Road trip continues on.

March 24th in Portland :

For this Portland edition of Dinner & A Mixtape on Tuesday night March 24th, order DJ Neil Armstrong is partnering up with Saucebox 214 sw broadway near burnside : portland, oregon.

Established in 1995, saucebox has maintained its reputation in the city as the place for the finest in pan-asian and pacific island cuisine with its insider vibe and unique presence. Unforgettable dishes and innovative cocktails have given saucebox national notoriety in The New York Times, Bon Appetit Magazine, Travel & Leisure and The Wall Street Journal – but it’s local attention and accolades like being honored as “Restaurant of the Year” In 1998 by the Oregonian that make saucebox a landmark of Portland restaurant and lounge scene.

We are offering a 3 course Pre Fix menu from 7PM to 10 PM that will include as an option, one special dish created by Chef Alex Diestra just for this event. Cost for the Pre Fix menu will be $45 dollars, and will include a copy of DJ Neil Armstrong’s Latest mixtape Warmfuzzy Part 2 on USB “Cassette” , and also a Download Link of DJ Neil Armstrong’s COMPLETE Mixtape library, including remixes and rarities.

MENU For Night:

Choice of 1st Course:
crispy brussels sprouts – dash scallions, soft egg*
warm thai salad – cabbage, sesame, rice noodles, tempura shrimp

Choice of Entree:
adobo pork shank – pork shank braised in a mixture of tamari, thai chili, coriander, honey, and coconut milk, accompanied by fried yucca, rice, and a garnish of diced onions, jalapeños, and cilantro.
cauliflower curry – broccolini, potatoes, wild mushrooms, tofu

Choice of Dessert:
sorbet duo – sweet papaya, pineapple, meryer lemon, lychee syrup
chocolate cake – green tea, burnt squash ice cream

Throughout the night DJ Neil Armstrong’s Mixtapes will provide the soundtrack. Purchase of Pre Fix menu is not necessary. Those who just want to come through for a drink and great vibes are welcome as well, and Saucebox’s regular menu will be available throughout the night.
