This one is for the fans who have been listening to my mixes for the last 10 years, and with this one I'm bringing it full circle. You should know the deal. Original Samples, mixed with their Hip Hop counterparts. Crossing genres, drawing that connecting line between rock, soul, reggae, opera, classical, blues, funk, jazz... let's just call it good music. Released in 2014, this was an answer to people who would say "There is no good music coming out right now". All the artists songs featured came out between 2008 & 2014. A valentine's day mix where all the music could have come out in the 90's . This was a Digital DL only release that was only available for free Via Stream.

The Sweeet Series was supposed to be a trilogy, with 3 mixes - each with a different name. You know them by now - Sweeet, Bittersweeet, and Smoove. Back in 2009 I decided to let the story continue on, with Sweeet Part 2 . I made this while I was still on tour with Mr. Carter in between tour runs. By this time it had been 3 years since I finished my last CD, and this one was a nice return to the work that got me started.

Bittersweeet. For many, the CD that set me apart. The 2nd installment of the Sweeet Series this cd was originally made in 2003 and was very different then other mixtapes from that time period.

Smoove , this was "supposed" to be the final installment of the Sweeet Series. Music for the grown romantics. Definitely the Mixtape you want to pop in to set the mood.

This mixtape was a departure from just the expected R&B, Hip Hop and soul classics. There were some unexpected artists who made the cut, including Led Zeppelin, The Art of Noise and Joe Bataan. Consequently from this point on one of the unfortunately labels I was given was a "mash-up" DJ. If you listen to what I do, I think you'll come to the conclusion that using that term is inaccurate. I'm just a DJ who loves good music.

I recently did a live All Vinyl "Original's" Set for DJ City and I was inspired. The last time I did something like that was when I made "Nonstop" over 10 years ago. In between then and now music has evolved, but I've always had this thing with searching for the music that makes OUR music. So here it is the next mixtape in the "original series" - STILL NONSTOP.

About an hour and a Half of Music - Recorded Live, no re-edits, one shot, no effects. Flawfully imperfect goodness. Every song recorded I have on vinyl -I think y'all gonna be suprised at some of the gems in the stash.

As always with my new releases this is will be delivered to you on Limited Edition Cassette USB , with the mixtape offered as one long MP3, and tracked also out in WAV format for optimum quality. .
