Cape Town South Africa… y’all need to go their one day.

In you’re life time, tadalafil you need to head over to Cape Town South Africa.

Yeah, thats what it looks like up top. Beautiful.

I got to go a month ago, representing for Adidas during the world cup at their Three Stories event space. The only bad thing about this trip, I only had a day and a half to take it all in before I headed off to Johannesburg aka JoBurg for my adidas gig over there…

But before we get to the gig itself, lets take a few more looks at the environment. Shut down your ideas of how Capetown might be.

It is a truly cosmopolitan city, with beautiful views and nice people. A comparative world city – that would be miami… with mountains. So its even better.

Being out there for adidas during the world cup was as you can imagine a once in a lifetime experience…

I don’t have anything to compare it too because I’ve never been there before, but Shawn explained to me that you could feel the festiveness of the south africans, how they were pulling together, their pride in hosting such a high level international event.

Adidas created this Three Story Space – literally, for all the party people to come to to enjoy that atmosphere of celebration – Adidas Style.

Consisting basically of a gallery space, a Skatepark and A viewing area for the World cup games, this was the adidas blockparty add come alive.

A big shout out to the guys at Cross Trainer SA – http://www.xtrainer.co.za/ , who laced me up with some custom football jerseys –

And a big shout out to Jared – who gave me this fly Litho Book Plate for this project that he’s working on about South African Urban Art….

The day I was there was the day that Ghana played their infamous game with Uraguay. Everyone there was backing Ghana because they were the last African Country in the Cup. Soooo, as you can imagine, moral was on the low side ;)

BUT, ya can’t hang your head low forever, and my job became to make sure they could forget their problems for a bit and groove. Ya know what… let me stop yapping, cause it was all captured nicely on video below…

Ughh… So sad that I only got to chill there for a day. Oh well, more the reason for me to head back out there.
On that note – peace to Shaun Duvet of http://www.anythinggoes.co.za/ – the agency who for getting me out there ;) we have to do it again soon (hint hint)…

Next stop was my last stop…. Johannesburg.

Long before the Jay-z thing and the Adidas representation these guys had me rock with them, pharm way back in maybe 2005 I’d like to say.

So it was nice to to be brought back to one of my favorite spots in the world to rock.
Goteburg , or “Gothenburg” for us Americans is a fine place for party people. They like good music and like to dance, what more can you ask for…

This party was called Colors and was held at this spot called Nefertiti

By 10 O’clock, the spot was already packed and the line was outside and around the corner.

So this party was elected Club of the Year last year, and the whole “theme” of this jam is “colors”, this time around being “Green”.

Wish y’all could have been there wit me ;) By the time we were done, the sun was up once again… and I had to jump on a plane to SOUTH AFRICA….

SomeDay in Athens….

Ah yes, site the early summer tour rolled on, and and i Found myself in Athens Greece.

The history here, health its gonna be rare for you to find a place in the world with more of it…

Our gig was held at this massive “Miami-esque” spot right by the beach, by the homies O.T.B. aka billy / The unexpected / and Sthathis aka DJ Noiz . Shouts to them for bringing me out and showing me around! Thanks to the rest of the cats who showed me around… one cat in particular I can’t remember his name right now cause I’m wack… he was like a tour guide and what not, new all the history ;) – ahh yes, his name was john aka el gato negro. Thank u for being the tour guide for you’re great city!

Being from NYC the Greek food is not unfamiliar, as we got a lot of greek spots all over the place, but the stuff in athens was of course, the real deal holyfield…

Spinnin in Athens is a different experience then the usual as far as djing goes.

For example – DO THE JERK – New Boyz is a WAY BIGGER CLUB BANGER THEN EMPIRE STATE OF MIND. I kid you not.

You have to play without pretense, because they don’t have any prejudice when it comes to music, they just want to dance…

So for example, pop champagne – you can still play that. Higher bpm, keep’em moving.

Partying til the sun came up in Frankfurt…

Below is another “day in the life” type video from my 24 hours in Frankfurt Germany on June 26th at the rooftop of the 25 Hour Hotel.

Julian Middlebrookspretty much captured the whole thing beauuutifully for L’Agentur & the IMA Clique, search for what can only be described as the party of the year in Frankfurt… so far ;)

Jumpin on a train from Zurich, I arrived at the 25 hour hotel and found one of the COOLEST Hotels I’ve had the opportunity to be in… and I’ve been in MANY, so I think you can trust my opinion.

The 25 hour hotel in frankfurt is a beautiful hotel, with basically all the decor put together by Levi’s from what I understand, which is in the same “complex”….

Decor is nice, posh but not snot…

And the rooms were pretty funky, with this whole beatles themed yellow submarine hippy feel, as you can see in this little Point of view video –

The party itself was conveniently held on the roof of the hotel as the main dancefloor, and the courtyard era below as well –

The party was jam jam packed. and it didn’t end until the sun came up…

TO Zurich with Love…

That sounds like a james bond flick.

Zurich switzerland, sick with its streets Lined with Rolexes and Cheese.

Naw, patient its nothing like that at all. Its beautiful , and scenic with a nice old world feel. Last june 25, about a month ago I got to visit and rock out a party called SWITCH @ Kaufleuten , a longtime club spot in Zurich with DJ’s M-Live And Slice pictured below …

The Party was jam packed with folk, as it is one of the premier friday nite hip hop parties in Zurich…

A great time was had by all, and I got to actually do some good siteseeing, as opposed to the days when I was out on tour with jay ( who was consequently there the week after I was ;) ), where it was hit after hit after hit….

As you can see from the pics above, Zurich is BEaaauuutiful.
